This fascinating art mug shows the dying breath of a Sun-like star. Like a glowing pool, the Helix Nebula mesmerizes, from the radiant shockwave at the edge to the small, faint spot in the middle. That spot is a white dwarf, the old inner core of the star pulled down onto itself into a dead, white-hot ball.
This large and sturdy 15 oz white glossy ceramic mug is perfect for your morning coffee, afternoon tea, or whatever hot beverage you enjoy while midnight stargazing. The artwork is a reproduction of an original 24 x 36 inch acrylic on canvas painting created by the artist Tracey Kendall.

Instructions
This mug is dishwasher safe and perfect for everyday use at home or in the office, but we recommend hand washing with a soft sponge whenever possible to preserve the vivid printing for the longest possible time. It is also microwave safe.
