The Cone Nebula is an immense pillar of gas and dust with a divine purpose: it is an incubator for new stars and planets. This beautiful art mug shows how ultraviolet radiation from hot, young stars is carving deep cavities in the top of the pillar, helping push the cycle of star and planet formation along.
This large and sturdy 15 oz white glossy ceramic mug is perfect for your morning coffee, afternoon tea, or whatever hot beverage you enjoy while midnight stargazing. The artwork is a reproduction of an original 24 x 36 inch acrylic on canvas painting created by the artist Tracey Kendall.

Many of our customers have purchased multiple mugs from the Hubble collection, giving them a veritable “cosmic art gallery” in their kitchen or office space. *Ms. Kendall’s inspiration for her painting came from the Hubble Space Telescope image of the Cone Nebula, for which credit duly goes to: NASA, Holland Ford (JHU), the ACS Science Team and ESA.

Instructions
This mug is dishwasher safe and perfect for everyday use at home or in the office, but we recommend hand washing with a soft sponge whenever possible to preserve the vivid printing for the longest possible time. It is also microwave safe.
